Meet Jordan!

Graduation season is always an emotional one… a mix of pride, reflection, and anticipation. Jordan, a recent graduate of Appleton North High School, wore his cap and gown with honor, quite literally.

Graduating with honors and heading to the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee to study Finance, Jordan is ready to take on the world.

Our Cap and Gown session was more than just a few photos in a robe — it was a moment to pause and celebrate everything it took to get to this milestone. The hard work, the late nights, the decisions made and dreams formed. I always encourage moms to step into at least one photo, because these are the moments that fly by the fastest. Before long, they’re off to college and the next chapter begins.

Jordan’s mom didn’t hesitate — she asked first if she could be in a photo with her son. That one request made my day. The image we captured of the two of them is filled with quiet pride, deep love, and that special bond that only grows stronger with time. It’s a photo they’ll both look back on for years — and one I know will become a favorite in the family album.

I always say that photos tell our story — not just for today, but for the generations who come after us. Jordan’s story is just beginning, and I’m honored to have helped preserve this important chapter.
